Privacy Policy

Last updated: January 24, 2026

1 - Introduction

SeekFirst (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a modern platform designed to help leaders and teams focus on what matters most each day and win together at work. Our mission is to simplify daily work, reduce noise, and help teams prioritize tasks so they can collaborate effectively. SeekFirst is part of the LeadFirst family of companies. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you interact with our website, sign up for our early‑access list, or use any current or future services (“Services”), including when you sign in using Google or Microsoft accounts. By using our Services, you agree to the collection and use of information as described below.

2 - Information We Collect

We collect different types of information depending on how you interact with SeekFirst. During our early‑access program, the information we collect is limited. When the full platform launches, additional data may be collected to deliver the service.

2.1 Personal Information

  • Early‑access sign‑up details: When you join our early‑access list, we ask for your full name, email address, job title and team size. We use this information to communicate about the launch of our platform and to better understand the types of organizations interested in using SeekFirst.
  • OAuth login data: If you choose to sign in with Google or Microsoft (for example, when accessing pre‑release features), we receive a limited set of profile data (your email address, name and profile picture). We do not have access to your password on those services. Google requires that every production OAuth app provide a home page containing links to its terms of service and privacy policy; Microsoft requires multi‑tenant apps to provide links to these documents during consent.
  • Payment information (future): When paid plans become available, we will collect subscription and billing details via our payment processor. We do not store full credit‑card numbers.

2.2 Usage Information

  • Website and service usage: We collect information about how you interact with our website, such as pages visited and forms submitted, along with device information (browser type, operating system, approximate location based on IP address) to secure our Services and understand interest in SeekFirst. When the full product launches, usage data may include tasks created, notes, team interactions, and other work‑related content. We will update this policy to describe those data types before general release.

2.3 Automatically Collected Data

Cookies and similar technologies help us keep you logged in (for example, when you sign in using OAuth), remember your preferences and analyze usage patterns. You can disable cookies in your browser, but some features might not work correctly.

3 – How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • Early‑access communications: If you join our early‑access list, we use your contact details to provide updates about SeekFirst’s development, invite you to beta programs and offer founding‑customer pricing and onboarding support. We also analyze aggregate data (e.g., team sizes, job roles) to shape our product roadmap.
  • Authentication: Allow you to sign in securely with Google or Microsoft for any pre‑release features. We request the minimum scopes necessary—typically your basic profile and email address—so we can create or match your SeekFirst account. As noted above, both Google and Microsoft require apps to provide a privacy policy and terms of service for OAuth consent.
  • Develop and improve the Services: Understand how visitors interact with our website, troubleshoot issues and develop features that simplify work and reduce noise. When the platform launches, we will use usage data to personalize experiences, prioritize tasks and improve team collaboration.
  • Billing (future): Process subscription payments via third‑party providers when paid plans become available. Billing details will only be used for payment and accounting purposes.
  • Legal compliance: Enforce our Terms of Service, protect the rights of SeekFirst and our users, and comply with applicable laws.

4 – How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only under the following circumstances:

  1. Service providers: We work with trusted third‑party vendors (e.g., for email delivery, analytics, payment processing and authentication) who need access to your information to perform services on our behalf. These providers may only use your data for the specific tasks we request and must protect it according to applicable laws.
  2. Legal requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, court order or government request, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of SeekFirst, our users or others.
  3. Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition or asset sale, your information may be transferred as part of the transaction. We will notify you of any change in ownership or use of your personal data.
  4. With your consent: We will share your information only when you explicitly authorize us to do so (for example, connecting a third‑party integration once the full platform launches).

5 – Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy:

  • Early‑access information: We keep the information you provide when joining the early‑access list until (a) the full platform launches and we invite you to sign up or (b) you ask us to remove you from our communications. If you no longer wish to receive updates, you may unsubscribe at any time via the link in our emails or by contacting us.
  • Service usage data: Once the platform launches, we will retain account‑related information for as long as you have an account. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data from active systems within 30 days; backups may persist for up to 90 days before being securely deleted.
  • Payment records (future): When paid plans become available, billing records will be retained for at least seven years to comply with tax and accounting obligations.
  • Logs and analytics: Aggregated and anonymized usage logs may be retained for up to two years to monitor performance and security.

6 – Revoking OAuth Access & Account Deletion

If you have connected your Google or Microsoft account to SeekFirst (for pre‑release features or in the future platform), you may revoke our access at any time:

  1. Google Account: Sign in to your Google account, navigate to Data & privacy → Third‑party apps with account access, locate SeekFirst and select Remove access. Google’s guidance notes that revoking consent stops Google from sharing your ID token on subsequent visits.
  2. Microsoft Account: Sign in to https://account.live.com/consent/Manage (for personal accounts) or https://myapps.microsoft.com (for work or school accounts). Find SeekFirst under your authorized apps and choose Remove or Revoke permissions.
  3. Delete your SeekFirst account: Once the full platform launches, you will be able to delete your account via the account settings page or by contacting us. Deleting your account will remove your personal data and disconnect any linked OAuth providers.

7 – Your Rights

Depending on where you reside, you may have the following rights concerning your personal information:

  • Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Correction: Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
  • Deletion: Ask us to delete your personal data. For early‑access participants, this means removing your details from our mailing list.
  • Portability: Request that we transfer your data in a portable format.
  • Withdraw consent: Revoke our access to your Google or Microsoft account and unsubscribe from our communications.
  • Complain: If you believe we have violated your rights, file a complaint with your local data‑protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us via the support channels listed below.

8 – Data Security

We employ industry‑standard measures to protect your personal data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), encryption of sensitive fields, role‑based access controls, monitoring and regular security audits. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100 % secure; therefore we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you suspect unauthorized access to any SeekFirst account or data, please notify us immediately.

9 – Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our services evolve or as legal requirements change. We will notify you of material changes via email or by posting a notice on our site. Continued use of SeekFirst after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
